StarTech - IPUSB2VGA - Ethernet to VGA over IP Converter
The IPUSB2VGA Ethernet to VGA over IP Converter offers versatile VGA video distribution, extending a VGA signal over Ethernet cable for transmission between a PC and VGA projector or display.
Functioning as an Ethernet VGA over IP converter, this innovative device can be used to extend a VGA video signal over Ethernet cable for long distance video connections straight from the computer LAN/Ethernet port - an ideal solution for boardroom presentations or simple digital signage over IP applications. The VGA/IP converter can be used through a router, and supports a transmission distance of up to 100-meters (300-feet) at Gigabit transfer speeds.
For shorter distance connections, the VGA adapter can be connected to the video source computer through USB, and connected to a monitor through the adapter VGA output.
This versatile VGA adapter can also function as a network docking station with support for audio from the PC and USB devices (e.g. keyboard and mouse on the projector or display side).
