This 2.5in SATA External Hard Drive Enclosure lets you turn any 2.5in Serial ATA hard drive (HDD) or solid state drive (SSD) into a dual purpose, internal removable hard drive.

Perfect for large volume data offloads, digital video recording, surveillance, audio editing (no fan so noiseless), external storage, or a simple way to swap storage between your notebook and desktop computers, the external hard drive enclosure is easy to install and use. Simply install the provided drive bracket & bay into any 5.25in or 3.5in drive bay on the host computer and connect the bay to the computer SATA port. Then, install the 2.5in SATA hard drive in the external enclosure, and insert the enclosure into the 5.25in/3.5in bay for instant connectivity with the host computer!

The hard drive enclosure is ejectable, and supports standalone installation, letting you connect the enclosure to any computer through a USB 2.0 port. The enclosure supports high capacity drives in a 9.5mm height form factor.
